Instore Cleaning Manager in Nottingham

In-Store Cleaning Manager Locations: Kimberley & Castle Boulevard, Nottingham Hours: 30 hours per week Shift: 5:00am - 12:00pm Pay: £13.75 per hour Permanent | Part-Time We are looking for an experienced and reliable In-Store Cleaning Manager to manage the cleaning operation within a busy retail store in Nottingham. We have opportunities available at two locations - Kimberley and Castle Boulevard. This is a hands-on management role where you will be responsible for leading a team of 6 cleaners, ensuring the store is cleaned to a consistently high standard and that the team operates efficiently each day. The Role As the In-Store Cleaning Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the cleaning team within the store. Your responsibilities will include: Managing and supervising a team of 6 cleaners Organising daily cleaning duties and ensuring all areas are covered Checking cleaning standards and carrying out regular quality checks Ensuring the store is cleaned and ready to a high standard Managing staff attendance, performance and standards Supporting with training and onboarding new team members Organising holiday and sickness cover Ensuring cleaning products and equipment are available Reporting any maintenance or cleaning issues to the relevant teams Maintaining good communication with store management Ensuring company health & safety procedures are followed Completing cleaning schedules, checks and relevant paperwork Leading by example and supporting the team with cleaning when required About You We're looking for someone who is reliable, organised and confident managing a small team. You will ideally have: Previous experience in cleaning supervision, cleaning management, housekeeping or a similar role Experience managing or leading a small team Good communication and people-management skills High standards and excellent attention to detail A proactive approach and the ability to work independently The confidence to deal with store management and staff Good organisational and time-management skills A hands-on approach - you're happy to get involved and lead from the front Previous retail or commercial cleaning experience is desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
