Job Description The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the housing construction site, ensuring that all activities comply with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and project time-lines. The role requires effective leadership, clear communication, and the ability to manage resources efficiently to deliver high-volume housing developments. Key Responsibilities Plan, organise and control site activities to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards. Manage subcontractors, suppliers and labour resources, maintaining strong working relationships. Ensure compliance with all health, safety and environmental policies and procedures on site. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, quality and safety standards. Maintain accurate records of site operations, including daily reports, site diaries and risk assessments. Coordinate with project managers, engineers and design teams to resolve any site issues promptly. Oversee the delivery and storage of materials, ensuring efficient use and minimal waste.
