A growing drylining contractor is seeking a dedicated and experienced Site Manager to oversee a project based in Northamptonshire.
This role requires strong leadership, excellent site management skills, and a thorough understanding of health and safety regulations within the construction sector.
- Job Duties
- Plan, organise and control the daily operations on site, ensuring the project progresses according to schedule and budget.
- Manage and supervise subcontractors and labour teams, ensuring quality standards are maintained throughout the project.
- Monitor compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all site personnel.
- Coordinate the delivery and storage of materials, equipment and resources needed for drylining and associated tasks.
- Maintain clear and accurate site records including daily reports, risk assessments and method statements.
- Liaise with clients, suppliers and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and resolve any site issues promptly.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential risks, defects or delays and implement corrective actions as required.
- Ensure all work complies with relevant building regulations, company standards and contractual requirements.
- Required Qualifications
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate.
- Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
- First Aid qualification.
- Full UK driving licence.
Experience
- Proven experience as a Site Manager within the construction industry, preferably within drylining or related trades.
- Demonstrable track record of managing medium to large-scale construction projects.
- Experience in enforcing health and safety legislation on site and managing risk assessments.
