The Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to join an established construction and property development business delivering high-quality residential projects across the Gloucestershire and Worcestershire area. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive Site Manager who takes pride in delivering projects safely, on programme and to a high standard.

The Role

  • Managing the day-to-day operations of construction sites
  • Coordinating subcontractors, trades and suppliers
  • Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards
  • Managing site programmes and monitoring progress against key milestones
  • Conducting regular site inspections and ensuring high standards of workmanship
  • Maintaining strong health & safety standards and ensuring compliance with site procedures
  • Managing site logistics, deliveries and materials
  • Liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors and the wider project team
  • Identifying and resolving issues on site
  • Attending site meetings and providing regular progress updates
  • Managing snagging and assisting with the successful handover of projects
  • Maintaining accurate site records and relevant project documentation

About You

The successful candidate will ideally have:

  • Previous experience working as a Site Manager within construction
  • Experience delivering residential or high-quality building projects
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes and site management
  • Excellent organisational and communication skills
  • The ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
  • A strong understanding of health & safety requirements
  • A proactive approach to problem solving
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality
  • CSCS qualification
  • SMSTS
  • First Aid
