An award-winning medium-sized housing developer is commencing an exciting new development of 40 traditional new build homes in Mansfield this June. The company seeks an experienced Site Manager to oversee the project from inception to completion, ensuring high standards of quality, safety, and efficiency throughout.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organise and manage all site activities to meet project deadlines and budgets.
- Supervise on-site operations, coordinating contractors, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure compliance with specifications and regulations.
- Maintain strict adherence to health and safety procedures, ensuring the site operates within legal and company standards.
- Monitor progress and quality of work, conducting regular inspections and resolving any issues promptly.
- Prepare and maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, labour and materials tracking.
- Manage risk assessments and method statements, ensuring all work is carried out safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, architects and engineers to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Lead toolbox talks and site meetings, fostering a positive and productive working environment.
- Oversee resource allocation, including labour, materials and plant, to optimise workflow and minimise waste.
Required Qualifications
- Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certificate.
- Valid Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card.
- Current First Aid qualification.
- Full, valid driving licence.

- Proven experience as a Site Manager within traditional new build housing developments.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials and methods specific to residential developments.
- Experience working on medium to large scale housing projects is essential.
