Overview
A well-established regional contractor is looking to recruit an Apprentice Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team in Malvern. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to begin a career within Quantity Surveying while gaining practical experience alongside industry professionals. You will work on a variety of construction projects across sectors including education, healthcare, residential and leisure, whilst receiving ongoing support and development.
Responsibilities
- Assisting the commercial team with the day‑to‑day management of construction projects
- Supporting the preparation of valuations, cost reports and forecasts
- Assisting with subcontractor procurement and package management
- Monitoring project costs and commercial performance
- Supporting contract administration and project documentation
- Working closely with Quantity Surveyors, Site Managers and Project Managers
- Developing your technical and commercial knowledge through structured training and mentorship
Requirements
- A keen interest in pursuing a career in Quantity Surveying and Construction
- GCSEs (or equivalent) including Maths and English
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Good communication and organisational abilities
- Motivated, ambitious and eager to learn
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Full UK Driving Licence desirable
