About the Company
A quality focused housing developer is expanding its sales team to support two new projects commencing in the Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire areas. This role offers a unique opportunity to earn commission from day one and provides clear progression to a Sales Manager position within 12 months.
Job Duties
- Engage with prospective customers to understand their housing requirements and guide them through the purchasing process of new build homes.
- Provide detailed information on property specifications, pricing, and availability, ensuring customers receive accurate and clear communication.
- Conduct property viewings and site tours, highlighting key features and benefits of the developments.
- Manage sales enquiries efficiently, maintaining records of customer interactions and sales progression using company systems.
- Negotiate terms and agreements with customers in line with company policies to secure sales and achieve targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to encourage referrals and repeat business.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to support promotional activities and events related to the housing developments.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity, and changes in the new build housing sector to advise customers effectively.
- Work towards personal and team sales targets, contributing to the overall success of the sales department.
Required Qualifications
- Valid full UK driving licence.
Education, Experience, Knowledge and Skills
- Proven experience in new build housing sales or a closely related property sales role.
- Strong understanding of the new build housing market and construction industry terminology.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse customers.
- Confident negotiation skills and the ability to close sales effectively.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple customer enquiries simultaneously.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications and customer relationship management systems.
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach and the resilience to work in a target-oriented environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in new build housing sales either with housing developers or estate agency.
- Knowledge of local housing market conditions in Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire.
Working Conditions
The role is based at the sales office in either Northamptonshire or Bedfordshire. Full-time hours are expected.
