Receiving and checking deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
Safely unloading, storing and organising construction materials.
Issuing materials, tools and equipment to site operatives.
Maintaining accurate stock records and monitoring inventory levels.
Reporting shortages, damaged goods and discrepancies to site management.
Keeping the stores and compound clean, organised and secure.
Liaising with suppliers, site management and subcontractors regarding deliveries.
Ensuring all materials are stored in line with health and safety requirements.
Assisting with general site logistics where required.
About You
Previous experience as a Material Controller, Storeperson or Construction Logistics Operative.
Valid CSCS Card.
Good knowledge of construction materials.
Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
