We are seeking an experienced and technically skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team, producing high-end bespoke joinery for prestigious residential projects across the UK.
The Role
- You will be responsible for creating, optimising, and managing CNC programs to ensure efficient and accurate machining of bespoke joinery components.
Duties Will Include
- Programming CNC woodworking machinery from technical drawings and production information
- Preparing machining layouts, tooling setups, and cutting paths
- Working closely with the design and production teams to ensure manufacturing efficiency
- Supporting machine operators and troubleshooting machining issues
- Ensuring components are manufactured accurately and to specification
- Continuously improving programming processes and production performance
- Maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and housekeeping within the workshop
Requirements
- Previous experience as a CNC Programmer within joinery or woodworking manufacturing
- Strong understanding of CNC woodworking machinery and tooling
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and production information
- Experience with CAD/CAM software and CNC programming systems
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
