About the Role
We are seeking a Carpenter’s Mate to support our carpentry team on high-end residential projects. The role requires regular travel into Central London, as well as flexibility to work across various sites in the South of England. Ideal for someone with good site experience who wants to progress in high-end residential work.
Responsibilities
- Assisting carpenters with materials, tools, and installations
- Supporting 1st & 2nd fix work on luxury residential projects
- Loading/unloading materials and occasional van driving
- Travelling between sites as required
- Keeping workspace tidy and safe
- Learning and developing high-end carpentry skills
Requirements
- Previous construction or carpentry assistant experience
- Comfortable travelling to London regularly
- Based near Reading or with strong rail links to London
- Hard-working, reliable, and eager to learn
- Flexible with working hours and travel
- Driving licence preferred
