About the Role
We are seeking a proactive Assistant Site Manager to support the daily operations of a residential construction site. Reporting to the Construction Director, you'll assist in ensuring projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Site Manager in overseeing all on-site activities
- Monitor build progress, quality, and safety compliance
- Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and external parties
- Maintain site records, including health & safety and quality checks
- Ensure timely ordering and proper storage of materials
- Promote safe working practices and compliance with regulations
- Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues and meet targets
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous experience in the housebuilding sector is essential
- Experience with a PLC developer
- Good understanding of NHBC standards
- Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
- Valid CSCS Card
- SMSTS certification preferred
- Full UK driving licence
- NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision (or willingness to train)
