About the Role

We are seeking a proactive Assistant Site Manager to support the daily operations of a residential construction site. Reporting to the Construction Director, you'll assist in ensuring projects are delivered safely on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Site Manager in overseeing all on-site activities
  • Monitor build progress, quality, and safety compliance
  • Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and external parties
  • Maintain site records, including health & safety and quality checks
  • Ensure timely ordering and proper storage of materials
  • Promote safe working practices and compliance with regulations
  • Work closely with internal teams to resolve issues and meet targets

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in the housebuilding sector is essential
  • Experience with a PLC developer
  • Good understanding of NHBC standards
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety and Environmental legislation
  • Valid CSCS Card
  • SMSTS certification preferred
  • Full UK driving licence
  • NVQ Level 4 in Construction Site Supervision (or willingness to train)
