Joiner in Aberdare

JOINER REQUIRED – ABERDARE, WALES

We are currently looking for an experienced and reliable Joiner for a construction project based in Aberdare, Wales.

We are looking for someone with good practical joinery skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to complete work to a high standard.

JOB DETAILS

Location: Aberdare, Wales
Position: Joiner
Start Date: TBC

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Carrying out general joinery work on site
• Completing first fix and second fix joinery as required
• Measuring, cutting and fitting timber and other materials accurately
• Installing doors, door frames, skirting boards and architraves
• Fitting and securing timber components
• Making adjustments and carrying out finishing work where required
• Reading and following site instructions and technical drawings where necessary
• Using hand tools and power tools safely and correctly
• Working alongside other trades to ensure the project runs smoothly
• Maintaining a clean, tidy and organised work area
• Following all site health and safety procedures

REQUIREMENTS:

• Previous experience working as a Joiner
• Good knowledge of general construction joinery
• Valid CSCS card, where required by the site
• Own tools suitable for the work
• Full PPE
• Good attention to detail and a high standard of workmanship
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions
• Available to confirm a start date once the project details are finalised
