Role Summary
Running various material and electronic flow operations within our end-to-end value stream to enable the production of finished goods. This is a varied multi-skilled role with many manual handling, production and electronic operations within a yard, light and heavy manufacturing environment.
Working Hours: Monday - Thursday 7am - 3:30pm, Friday 7am - 2pm

Core Responsibilities
- Work safely and follow all site HSE guidelines
- Follow process standard work and work independently to set work schedules
- Carry out multiple material flow processes to fulfil supermarkets, stock replenishment, Kanbans and waste processing
- Operation of internal machinery in the production of materials to replenish supermarket stock
- Using various material conveyancing methods such as Forklifts, motorised pallet trucks and other manual methods
- Follow electronic workflows to enable material flow, accurate stock control and Kanban maintenance
- Operate the goods in process, which includes ERP & Kanban electronic processes
- Loading/unloading various loads from vehicles
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working within similar roles, or demonstration of transferable skills
- Practical ‘hands on’ approach with experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to follow time bound Standard Work
- Attention to detail, ability to maintain focus and resolve problems
- Excellent customer service
- Valid (or working towards gaining) Counterbalance Truck certificate recognized by an accredited training body, engaging with our supervision programme to enable a safe operation
- Using ERP and other electronic workflows. These will use PC, mobile or scanner type equipment
- Flexibility and comfortable doing a varied role within a given shift. Following the resource plan set by the team leader
- Ability to work in a team environment and working on a task rotation basis
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Working collaboratively with other departments
- Adhering to core values and driven positive attitude
- Receptive to new challenges and expanding current knowledge
- Positive contribution to multi-departmental initiatives and process improvements
Benefits & Compensation
£13.45 per hour, plus pension, health care, 25 days holiday plus public holidays. Commitment bonus to be paid at the end of the contract if the relevant criteria has been met.
