An exciting opportunity has arisen within our business for an experienced HR Manager. The hours are 20-30 per week, Monday to Friday; these hours and days are flexible for the right candidate and can be discussed at interview. You will be on site working at our Head Office, near Ulverston, Cumbria. This is an exciting opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who is passionate about HR.

As a HR Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions and development within the organisation. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with employees at all levels of the company and contribute to the overall success of the business.

The Role

You will provide advice and support to all management and advise employees on queries and concerns relating to their employment terms and conditions, HR policies and procedures. Specifically, this will include: disciplinary, grievance, attendance and performance issues in line with company procedures. You will provide a customer-focused outlook with a high level of discretion, confidentiality and professionalism. A key part of the role will be ensuring the Staff Handbook and employment contracts are kept up to date and in line with current legislation. You will manage various HR queries throughout the business and provide a focal point for the business on people related activities in support of recruitment and retention. Additionally, you will oversee the administration of payroll and pension scheme.

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3-5 years HR experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
