Primary Job Responsibilities
- Own and execute the content strategy including curating a diverse range of content for the company’s organic social media accounts, ensuring alignment with EVP brand voice and messaging (LinkedIn, Instagram, Glassdoor).
- Work daily with creative tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suites (Premier Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, InDesign, Capcut, After Effects) for content creation.
- Be responsible for the internal Marketing Inbox and provide design and branding support across various channels to maintain consistency and enhance brand identity in both internal and external communications.
- Offer personal branding support to our sales team, assisting them in cultivating and promoting their professional presence on LinkedIn and other platforms, including job advertisements and related employee content.
- Responsible for writing and sending email campaigns, creating and scheduling social media posts, creating web pages and website banners, presentations for events, and creation of other assets like videos, gifs and images.
- Monitor and measure the effectiveness of job adverts and recruitment marketing campaigns against key measures of success to ensure maximum ROI. Build into future strategies and recommendations.
- Collaborate with our Talent Acquisition team by providing them with compelling content that effectively showcases our company culture and workplace environment.
- Ensure they are equipped with the appropriate content throughout the candidate journey to effectively attract, engage, and retain top talent.
- Support Thor’s growth by implementing our EVP & Employer branding project, together with HR and TA to attract the best candidates on the market.
Other Responsibilities
- External Communications & Social Media: Conceptualise, capture, edit, and deliver high-quality photography, videography, and visual content for both internal and external platforms, ensuring consistency and excellence in visual representation.
- Optimise and develop online presence and activity on the company’s digital channels.
- Compose and share monthly external communications and social media reports.
- Set KPIs, track data, and use analysis to report on content marketing campaigns, and to inform plans.
- Craft compelling thought leadership pieces for the company blog, covering a range of topics including industry news, market insights, Thor culture (EVP), and EDI & CSR initiatives, establishing the company as a reputable voice within relevant sectors.
Internal Communications
- Maintain and refresh the internal employee portal on HiBob with up-to-date news, encompassing announcements for new starters, employee shoutouts, company updates, sales metrics, social events, and more.
- Take charge of crafting the company's quarterly newsletter, from inception to completion, overseeing planning, content creation, copywriting, and layout design to ensure a cohesive and engaging publication.
- Collaborate with Operations & HR to effectively execute our Internal Events Calendar and Total Company Learning (TCL/Thortful Minds Calendar) Events, fostering employee engagement and facilitating professional development opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Operations Team to effectively manage office branding and ensure it fosters employee engagement and facilitates professional development opportunities.
- Propose internal communications strategies to help engage, motivate and keep the employees informed at all times.
