For over 30 years, the company has designed, manufactured, supplied, trained, and supported more than 5,000 customers, including leading institutions such as Harvard, MIT, St. Jude, and major professional sports teams. THOR is widely recognized as a leading authority on PBM dose and beam parameters, with its products referenced in over 100 published research papers and multiple theoretical studies. This is an entry‑level role within THOR, providing an excellent opportunity to develop hands‑on experience in NetSuite and associated business system development and support. As a Junior NetSuite Developer, you will work closely with our experienced developer – Principal Business Systems and AI Architect, IT Support Technician and cross‑functional teams to support the development, customisation, integration and ongoing maintenance of the company's NetSuite ERP platform and associated business systems. The role offers exposure to system design, process automation, data management, reporting and application development within a growing organisation. Full training and mentoring will be provided to support the successful candidate in building technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain SuiteScript 2.x customisations (User Events, Client Scripts, Scheduled Scripts, Suitelets) supporting order‑to‑cash, inventory, and fulfilment workflows.
  • Support and enhance our custom portal and assist with maintenance/feature development on Betty.
  • Troubleshoot and monitor integrations between Betty, the custom portal, and NetSuite — RESTlet calls, scheduled syncs, data consistency issues.
  • Create and modify Saved Searches, SuiteQL queries, workflows, and custom records to support evolving business requirements.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues using Execution Logs, Script Debugger, and cross‑system log tracing.
  • Collaborate with Sales Admin, Operations, and Production teams to translate business problems into technical solutions.
  • Follow change management and documentation practices appropriate for a regulated medical environment.

Minimum Education and Experience

  • Maths and English GCSE level or equivalent.
  • IT/Computer Science qualification.

Technical Requirements

  • Understanding of NetSuite record model – transactions, entities, sublists, body fields.
  • Basic understanding of how external applications communicate with NetSuite (RESTlets, token‑based auth, webhook patterns).
  • Saved Searches – filters, columns, joins, result paging.
  • Comfort working across multiple codebases – not everything lives inside NetSuite.
  • Understanding of script execution order and governance unit limits.
  • Basic debugging – Execution Log, Script Debugger, isolating script vs workflow issues.
  • Understanding of MRP/manufacturing planning concepts – Bill of Materials, work orders, routing, demand planning.

Soft Skills

  • Can translate a business problem into a technical solution.
  • Comfortable working with non‑technical stakeholders (finance, ops, warehouse).
  • Detail‑oriented – especially important in a regulated medical device environment.
  • Self‑sufficient enough to research NetSuite documentation and community resources.
  • Knows when to ask for help vs when to dig deeper independently.
