Promote a strong, proactive HSE culture by leading by example and engaging teams at all levels.

Ensure legal compliance and best practice implementation across all HSE activities.

Support and improve management systems, tools, and HSE documentation.

Facilitate safety meetings, Toolbox Talks, inspections, audits, and HAZID/HAZOP workshops.

Review RAMS and monitor both internal and external HSE performance.

Lead and support incident investigations, trend analysis, and data reporting using Synergi.

Work closely with contractors and stakeholders to embed a culture of safety and environmental awareness.

Deliver HSE inductions and presentations, and maintain up-to-date personal HSE certifications.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

  • Relevant academic or technical background in HSE or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years' HSE experience in renewables, construction, or a related sector.
  • NEBOSH Level 3 or equivalent HSE qualification.
  • Solid understanding of UK HSE regulations, including CDM 2015.
  • Experience working with contractors and third-party stakeholders.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Fluent in English; written and verbal.
  • IT literate (Microsoft Office), with knowledge of Synergi or similar systems.
  • Clean UK driving license.
  • Valid site safety passport (CCNSG or CSCS).

Desirable:

  • NEBOSH or IEMA Environmental Management qualifications.
  • Qualified or certified internal/external auditor.
  • Experience delivering HSE training.
  • QHSE BSc, Diploma, or equivalent (Level 6).
