The predicted salary is between 13 - 16 £ per hour.
The ideal candidate will enjoy problem solving and have excellent attention to detail and communication skills. You will thrive in this role with good customer service and an organised and methodical approach to your work. The preferred working hours would be 30 hours per week. However, this can be discussed with the right candidate at interview.
Responsibilities:
- Completion of Payroll activities to support the company
- Process timesheets, invoices and vehicle inspection sheets provided by several routes of communication
- Investigate and resolve all general payroll related queries including discrepancies with timesheets liaising with the relevant manager
- Ensure the rates of pay records are kept up-to-date
- Ensure all payroll systems and files are kept up to date and documents are maintained accurately
- Maintain and focus on continuous improvement, standardising processes, and streamlining where possible
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2 years payroll experience (required)
- GCSE Mathematics C or above
- Knowledge of MS Office
- High level of integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Ability to multi-task and a high level of attention to detail
- Excellent communication and organisation skills
- A team player with a pro-active approach
- Willing to work flexibly and be responsive to wider team and business needs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deal confidently with employees, managers and external stakeholders
