As Manager, Legal Marketing Strategy, you are an experienced marketing professional with strong strategic and executional capability, and a passion for building trusted market presence through integrated campaigns and stakeholder engagement. You will lead targeted marketing activity that supports awareness, engagement and adoption of CoCounsel Legal across key public sector and legal audiences, including the Bar, Crown Prosecution, Government Legal Department and Ministry of Justice. This cross-functional role requires strong planning capability, stakeholder management and collaboration, campaign leadership and a data-driven approach to performance optimisation. You will report to the Director, Legal Marketing Strategy.

With functional and strategic marketing expertise, strong management skills, and relevant professional experience, you will:

  • Develop and execute marketing strategies that advance the long-term Win the Courts agenda and strengthen Thomson Reuters' presence across the broader justice ecosystem.
  • Build Thomson Reuters' influence and authority through high-impact thought leadership initiatives.
  • Create and deliver targeted events, sponsorships and engagement programmes that connect with key stakeholders, raise awareness and support relationship-building across priority audiences.
  • Lead integrated digital nurture campaigns across relevant channels to convert market interest into qualified pipeline, deeper engagement and product adoption.
  • Partner closely with sales, product marketing, content, digital and external stakeholders to ensure campaigns are aligned to business priorities and audience needs.
  • Translate market insight, customer understanding and commercial objectives into clear, actionable marketing plans and programmes.
  • Monitor campaign and programme performance, using data and insight to assess effectiveness, optimise activity and report on contribution to pipeline and growth.
  • Identify opportunities to improve campaign integration, audience targeting, channel performance and overall marketing efficiency.
  • Work closely with marketing peers focused on the same audience in other subsegments and collaborate where possible to ensure efficiency.

To be considered for the role of Manager, Legal Marketing Strategy you will have:

  • A degree in marketing, business or a related discipline.
  • 6+ years’ experience in marketing strategy, demand generation, growth marketing or integrated campaign management.
  • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels, nurture strategy and campaign planning.
  • Experience developing thought leadership, strategic content or market positioning programmes.
  • Experience managing the strategy for events, sponsorships or stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • A strong commercial mindset with the ability to connect marketing activity to pipeline creation, adoption and business growth.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with confidence in using performance data to generate insight and inform decision-making.
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams and seniority levels.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, and prior use of AI in content creation and planning.
  • An understanding of the AI, legal, government or public sector environment would be advantageous.
