Key Responsibilities
- Define customer‑driven content strategy, messaging and execution for commercially sponsored content, events, interviews and multimedia initiatives.
- Translate customer objectives and audience insight into positioning, storytelling and scalable content products.
- Manage and guide Content Editors and contributors to ensure consistent quality, messaging and execution across the portfolio.
- Act as the senior content lead, working closely with customers, commercial leadership, marketing, production teams and external partners.
Content Strategy & Customer Focus
- Establish content strategy based on defined customer personas and decision‑maker journeys within the global (re)insurance market.
- Define customer‑facing positioning statements and messaging frameworks for key audience segments.
- Ensure content propositions are clearly differentiated and commercially relevant.
Commercial Content Leadership
- Own the development and delivery of sponsored content, thought leadership, partner interviews and client‑led narratives.
- Shape content plans that support commercial campaigns, partnerships and long‑term client relationships.
- Ensure consistency of tone, format and quality across all commercial content outputs.
Sales Enablement & Proposition Development
- Build and maintain sales enablement tools and content assets to support pitching and client conversations.
- Work with the Commercial Director and sales teams to package content propositions for customers.
- Support pre‑sales and post‑sales activity by articulating content value and execution plans.
Content Planning & Execution
- Oversee planning and delivery of long‑form content (reports, features, documentaries, special projects).
- Oversee short‑form content (interviews, video clips, panel highlights, editorial‑style explainers).
- Ensure content is effectively repurposed across digital platforms, video, and events.
Customer & Partner Engagement
- Work directly with customers to shape interviews, event appearances and content participation.
- Build strong relationships with senior industry figures and partners.
- Attend, host and chair events, roundtables and customer‑facing sessions where required.
Cross‑functional Collaboration
- Work closely with marketing, production, video and events teams to deliver integrated commercial programmes.
- Coordinate market research and audience insight to identify new commercial content opportunities.
- Act as the senior content point of contact within the commercial team.

You are a commercially minded content leader comfortable working directly with customers and shaping content in a client‑led environment. You understand how to balance audience value with commercial objectives without operating as independent newsroom journalism.
