Exceptional role for a Competition Associate to join one of the largest Competition Teams in Europe, based in their offices in the city of London. Role Profile: The EU/ Competition team at this major international law firm, handles a broad range of high-quality work including UK, EU and international merger control, competition investigations, competition litigation, behavioural advice and a wide range of regulatory and trade work. The team also advises extensively on public procurement matters, state aid, utility regulation, foreign direct investment and CMA consumer enforcement issues.The EU/ Competition team consists of 5 partners and a team of 12 other fee-earners based in London and Edinburgh and is part of a wider worldwide Competition Group. This is therefore an excellent opportunity for someone looking to further their career in a dynamic and internationally focused team.Associates are encouraged to take on high levels of responsibility and client contact is encouraged- From day one your role will include business development activities within the team and across the firm’s sector groups. The team also undertakes a significant amount of cross-border work, cooperating on a daily basis and will include some travel. Candidate Requirements:The team is currently expanding and is looking for a motivated, ambitious Associate with circa 3-6 years PQE to be based in their London office.
