b Overview /b p In this role you join Scotland’s leading real estate team to advise on high-profile Scottish and cross-border property matters for retailers, hotel operators, and private equity owners. You will handle a range of landlord and tenant work and complex land transactions, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver commercial, timely solutions. The role offers exposure to international and UK market-leading clients and opportunities to contribute to Scotland’s biggest real estate projects. You will be part of a prestigious, fast-paced practice that values initiative and business development. /p b Pay / Benefits /b ul li highly competitive salary and benefits package /li /ul b Responsibilities /b ul li Draft and negotiate land contracts including leases, development agreements, and purchase and sale contracts /li li Advising clients across retail, hotel, and private equity on Scottish investments /li li Handle landlord and tenant estate management work and title reviews /li li Collaborate with planning, corporate, tax, banking and construction teams on cross-disciplinary matters /li li Develop sector-specific knowledge in hotels, retail and leisure markets /li li Provide commercial, timely advice and build client relationships with property professionals /li li Involvement in business development activities and firm initiatives /li li Support junior team members and contribute to large-scale, high-profile property projects across Scotland /li /ul b Key requirements /b ul li Qualified solicitor in Scotland and/or England Wales (or both) /li li 2–4 years PQE for Senior Solicitor or 4+ years PQE for Associate /li li Strong interest in property industry and initiative to deepen knowledge /li li Attention to detail with a commercial outlook /li li Proactive, adaptable, and able to work in a fast-paced environment /li li Excellent communication and client-facing skills /li li Organised, self-motivated and able to prioritise /li li Experience with cross-border deals and coordinating with English and international firms (advantage) /li /ul ul li enthusiasm /li li initiative /li li quick thinking /li li drafting leases /li li drafting development agreements /li li drafting purchase and sale contracts /li /ul
