Role Profile: The team act for private and public sector clients (including international Governments), funders, and consortia, across a range of sectors, including social infrastructure projects, transport and waste, in the UK and Internationally- Theyunderstand the commercial, strategic, technical, geographical and political factors that shape and impacttheirclients, and our market leading presence allows themfirst-hand access to contacts, sponsors and key decision makers worldwide.The position offers an excellent opportunity to play a leading role in high profile and path-finding transactions across the UK and Internationally.The role will involve working on: Advising private and public sector clients, funders and consortia on UK Public Private Partnerships (PPPs), across sectors. As well as advising on the procurement and negotiation of projects up to financial close, our work frequently sees us providing advice and support to our clients post-close, during the construction and operational phases. Advice in the Health, Education and Transport sectors, in particular. Public Procurement (domestic and international). InternationalInfrastructure Projects, including regulatory drafting and PPP toolkits. Candidate Requirements: An ability to lead and project manage a number of high profile cases independently. Experience negotiating project agreements, sub-contracts and ancillary project documents, with limited supervision, during all phases of the project cycle. Experience leading on the dialogue phase of PPP-type projects would be beneficial. Experience advising on public procurement would be beneficial. Commercially astute and stays current on key legal and business news. Excellent skills in communication, client relations, and team-working. Provides a professional, quality service in a timely manner, and responds effectively to requests from internal and external clients. Understands positive client support. Creates confidence in the team and the firm. Works co-operatively in a team, sharing information and knowledge. Manages time effectively and efficiently. Seeks to manage own utilisation wherever possible in order to meet individual and team targets. Takes ownership for achieving agreed objectives.
