A highly successful and innovative Scottish law firm is seeking to hire an Insolvency Litigation Lawyer to join their growing Glasgow office. Responsibilities include:
- Acting in litigation relating to wrongful trading, misfeasance, breach of fiduciary duty, and director disqualification.
- Pursuing and defending claims for preferences, gratuitous alienations, transactions at undervalue, and challenges to antecedent transactions.
- Acting for insolvency practitioners in asset recovery and enforcement actions.
- Advising creditors and directors on risk, strategy, and dispute resolution.
- Drafting pleadings, court documents, and legal opinions.
Requirements:
- Qualified solicitor in Scotland (or dual-qualified with relevant Scottish litigation experience).
- Strong background in litigation or dispute resolution; experience of insolvency litigation would be an advantage but not essential.
