In this role you will join the UK Oil & Gas Team in Aberdeen to support complex, high-value M&A, projects and supply chain work for leading energy clients. You will contribute to advising on upstream and downstream matters, with exposure to international deals and the energy transition. The position offers a platform to develop your expertise in a market-leading practice and to work closely with recognised industry names. Responsibilities
- Handle complex M&A, projects and supply chain work for oil & gas clients, domestically and internationally
- Contribute to advisory and transactional matters across upstream, downstream, and broader energy sector
- Draft and negotiate oil, gas, LNG and LPG sale and purchase agreements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients to deliver high-value legal solutions
- Support business development activities and build client relationships
Key requirements
- Circa 2+ years PQE in private practice or in-house
- Experience in transactional, projects and/or supply chain work in oil & gas
- Experience drafting and negotiating oil, gas, LNG and LPG SPAs
- Strong commercial acumen and business development skills
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in oil & gas
