Job Description

Oil & Gas/ Infrastructure Lawyer, 3+ PQE- London/ Hybrid


Leading UK law firm is looking to hire additional lawyers to join their Tier 1 Ranked Oil & Gas/ Infrastructure team. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package and the role can be based in London, Edinburgh or Aberdeen.


Role Profile:


The Oil & Gas/ Energy & Infrastructure group current advises on some of the largest and most complex energy projects in the UK and Overseas. In this role you will work on a diverse range of energy matters including:


  • Oil & Gas
  • Renewables
  • Power
  • Infrastructure (water, transport and regeneration)
  • Operations
  • Service Sectors


Additionally, you will:


  • Advise operators on all aspects of upstream operational contracts, including JOAs, transportation arrangements and decommissioning security agreements.


  • Advise operators on field development agreements.


  • Advise on diligence aspects of M&A transactions, SPAs and M&A transactions.


  • Advise service sector clients (and operators) on contractual issues in relation to all types of specialist service sector contracts, including drilling, seismic, offshore construction, EPCs.


  • Assisting the Oil & Gas team in keeping up to date with legal and industry developments.


Candidate Requirements:


  • Fully qualified UK lawyer with a background in Oil & Gas/ Energy/ Infrastructure law.
  • Team player who works efficiently and deliver to deadlines.
  • Candidates from in-house or private practice are invited to apply.
  • Overseas candidates must be admitted and have the right to work in the UK.
