International Life Science company is looking to hire a Legal Business Support Manager to support contracting across North America and EMEA, including support for procurement contracting activities, and provides global legal support for Corporate Accounts. The role is based in Glasgow with hybrid working on offer (circa 2/3 days a week in the office in Glasgow).

Responsibilities:

  • Lead on project management/change management.
  • Drive/Lead Practical Process Improvement adoption across team and with stakeholders.
  • Oversee operation of Quality Control process.
  • Lead on internal audit of compliance with processes and procedures, including monitoring adherence to agreed SOPs and protocols.
  • Responsibility for analysis of data.
  • Monitor KPI compliance, prepare standing reports, identify non-compliance issues and support implementation of any necessary remedial programs.
  • Principal liaison with LegalOps team, input into design and responsibility for implementation of systems driven programs.
  • Design and implement document and file management architecture/review and change control protocols including management of iManage and Teams.
  • Management of team onboarding process.
  • Supporting preparation of professional and user-friendly training documentation in various media.
  • Handling access requests for contract repository and granting user access as appropriate.
  • Running contracts update tracker and supporting monthly/quarterly reports to segment leads on ongoing negotiations.
  • Own relationship with Comms team to develop initial project and enduring comms strategy for marketing and growth, change management and training.
  • Responsible for development of consistent external facing content; develop effective and professional presentations and related material to facilitate team goals.
  • Provide high quality, confidential & proactive executive support to the Leadership Team.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Previous business management experience with business qualification including Project Management (or equivalent).
  • 5+ years supporting senior leadership level.
  • Self-starter, highly proactive, extremely organised and detail oriented, efficient, effective and self-managed.
  • Self-motivated with a positive & professional approach, thrives in high velocity global matrix environment.
  • Ability to work proficiently under pressure and tight deadlines, working independently as well as in teams.
  • Superior communication skills both verbally and written.
  • Commercial and/or operational understanding and experience.
  • Analytical skills to evaluate business information and translate data into knowledge and action.
  • Agile learner with ability and willingness to learn new skills, tools and systems.
  • Experience of building presentations and reports for senior leaders, managing complex varied workloads and leading projects.
  • Ability to think strategically and understand commercial drivers and perspectives.
  • Problem-solving attitude, committed to finding a better way and removing barriers to execution.
