Our client, a leading and award-winning Analytics FinTech that partners with top asset managers, hedge funds, and investment banks, is looking to hire a Principal Engineer or Technical Architect for a newly created role. You will be working alongside another senior engineer and reporting directly into the Head of Technology, who has been with the company since its founding. This role will have responsibility for designing and validating MVPs, as well as providing architectural oversight across the entire firm. You will coordinate three development teams toward the company’s target architectural goals. In addition to design and architecture responsibilities, you will help improve and maintain engineering best‑practices across the firm, including shared tooling and services across engineering departments.
Qualifications
- Experience with cross‑product architectural standards and decisions.
- Robust Python development background.
- Vision for or interest in AI implementation at the enterprise level in a smaller firm.
- Experience or background in analytics or working within the OTC/ETD domain is desirable.
This is a hybrid role in The City of London (2 days per week onsite) in the ETD/OTC Analytics space within Financial Markets Technology, paying between £130,000 and £150,000 base salary plus annual bonus, pay reviews, and benefits.
