London | Investment Banking | Prime Brokerage & Financing Technology | Hybrid Working Our leading Investment Banking client is looking for a Senior Java Architect / Lead Developer to join a business-critical technology team. What you'll be doing: Shaping the architecture of strategic trading and financing platforms. Designing and building scalable, event-driven systems using Java and Kafka. Leading the design and implementation of distributed systems and microservices architectures. Collaborating closely with business stakeholders, managers and engineering teams. Supporting platforms that underpin financing, securities lending and equity derivatives workflows. What we're looking for: Strong Java engineering background. experience with distributed event-driven systems and data streaming. FO experience Excellent communication skills and ability to work with stakeholders across the business. Desirable: Low-latency engineering experience Designed a trading system, using containers, in java Please note you will only be considered if you have front office markets experience.
