Our client (Financial Services) is seeking an Infrastructure & Operations Manager with experience in both hands-on Cloud/Infra/Networking and leadership experience.
You will lead multiple teams with a combined headcount of 15+, to optimise the current state and processes whilst looking to build out a brand-new infrastructure in the medium term in conjunction with their ongoing growth strategy.
Responsibilities:- Lead multiple teams with a combined headcount of 15+ to optimise the current state and processes.
- Build out a brand-new infrastructure in the medium term in line with the company’s growth strategy.
- Collaborate with Architects and other department heads to plan and execute BAU optimisation and strategic next-gen infrastructure initiatives.
- Strong communication skills, able to work with senior stakeholders.
- People management/leadership experience with the ability to mentor and drive culture change through technical leadership.
- Hands-on experience with a range of infrastructure and networking tools/technologies (e.g., VMware, DevOps, etc.).
- Strong cloud experience, ideally Azure, with experience in migration projects and delivering cloud-first initiatives.
- Ability to optimise BAU as well as contribute to strategic planning for next-gen technology infrastructure.
- Some understanding of AI principles as future AI initiatives will be supported by Infra and Ops teams.
