Position Overview

Salary: £28,000 - £32,000

Location: Flexible within England & Wales

Responsibilities

  • Allocating resources to projects and responding to changing circumstances such as project changes and absence to ensure continued project delivery.
  • Engaging with Project Managers throughout the department to understand their resourcing needs and balance competing priorities.
  • Overseeing the provision and maintenance of equipment for field ecologists.

Qualifications

  • Confidence dealing with resource contention, conflicts and changing circumstances.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills, with the ability to resolve conflict in an outcome-focused manner.
  • Excellent organisation and time management skills, able to prioritise in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a wider team.
  • A solution-focused approach, good judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in preparing and monitoring management information to track progress.
  • Awareness of project budgets and how to manage them.
  • Strong IT skills; confident using Office 365 products and quick to learn bespoke software and systems.
