The Position: We are looking for an engaged and enthusiastic Project Assistant to support our Terrestrial Ecology team on a fixed-term basis, during a busy summer season. No prior knowledge of ecology is required, but a willingness to engage and ability to learn quickly will be beneficial. You will be supporting the Ecology team on a variety of ad-hoc, administrative and project-based tasks. This role provides a great insight and an opportunity to gain further understanding of ecology.
Location and Schedule: Location: Birmingham (Kenilworth). Hybrid, with at least 3 days in the office per week. Salary: from £25,063 per annum.
Requirements: The ideal candidate will:
- Be self-motivated with the ability to learn quickly.
- Have confidence to work independently with support and guidance where required, and as part of a team.
- Be a great communicator, comfortable with making phone calls and drafting professional emails.
- Have good time management skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks.
- Be able to quickly understand project requirements and adapt to new tasks efficiently.
- Able to start full time until end of October 2026.
- Be located within 1 hour's commute from our Birmingham (Kenilworth) office.

- Full UK Driving License and own car, which can be insured for business use.
- First Aid at Work certification.
