Position: Junior Corporate & Commercial Lawyer
Office: Pershore, Tewkesbury or Stratford-upon-Avon
Hours: Full time
Salary: £31,000-£45,000, dependent on experience
Are you a newly qualified or early-career Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive looking to develop your career in corporate and commercial law?
Thomson & Bancks is seeking a Junior Corporate & Commercial Lawyer to join our Business Services team. Working closely with an experienced Consultant Solicitor, you will receive mentoring, supervision and hands-on experience across a broad range of corporate and commercial matters.
Working from any of our three offices, you will:
- Assist with share and asset sales and purchases, including due diligence and transaction documents
- Support company formations, reorganisations, shareholders’ agreements and partnership matters
- Draft and review commercial contracts, terms and conditions, and supply or services agreements
- Assist with company secretarial and corporate governance work
- Carry out legal research and prepare legal documentation
- Support transactions through to completion
- Work alongside colleagues on matters for owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurs
- Develop client relationships and gain direct client exposure from an early stage
- Build your technical and commercial knowledge with structured support and mentoring
This role would suit a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with some corporate or commercial experience gained through a training contract, qualifying employment, paralegal role or post-qualification practice who is keen to continue developing their career.
