Are you an experienced Agricultural Property Lawyer looking to join a well-established regional firm with strong roots in the rural community?
Thomson & Bancks is seeking a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join our Business Services team.
This is an opportunity to work with farmers, landowners and rural businesses across Gloucestershire, Worcestershire and Warwickshire while helping to grow our agricultural and rural property practice.
Working from any of our three offices, you will:
- Manage a varied caseload of agricultural and rural property matters
- Advise on the sale and purchase of farms, estates, agricultural land and rural property
- Deal with agricultural tenancies, farm business tenancies, licences and occupation agreements
- Advise on easements, wayleaves, rights of way and access matters
- Assist with options, conditional contracts, overage agreements and land development projects
- Handle refinancing, title issues, boundary matters and land registration work
- Support clients with diversification projects and wider rural business initiatives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and professional contacts
- Contribute to the continued growth of the agricultural and rural property team
This role would suit a Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive with experience in agricultural or rural property law who enjoys building client relationships and providing practical, commercial advice.
For the individual we are able to help with legal issues surrounding the buying and selling of your home, the preparation of Wills (including inheritance tax planning), and powers of attorney. We also advise on the creation and management of trusts and can offer an understanding and efficient service upon the loss of a loved one by helping with the administration of their estate.
We assist with family law problems and divorce with the same careful consideration. We always seek to be firm and fair when promoting your wishes and will be frank with you as to the risks and possibilities that you may face.
For the business client we can help you deal with legal matters such as buying and selling a business, employment law, commercial property and disputes. Partnerships and Companies that are owned and run by industrious people will seek us out because we are not a faceless and nameless call centre delivering robotic advice, but we have local, trusted and dedicated people who identify themselves and are accountable for the advice and service that we provide.
