Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an HGV Technician at our Sheffield branch. Responsibilities include performing scheduled servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of HGVs (Heavy Goods Vehicles). You will inspect, maintain, and repair diesel engines, brakes, suspension systems, and other key components, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations. Additional tasks include addressing mechanical and electrical faults, conducting testing for functionality, and collaborating with team members to ensure a streamlined service process.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in vehicle diagnostics, servicing, and repair, particularly for HGVs
- Skills in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical and electrical faults
- Knowledge of safety protocols and compliance with vehicle regulations and maintenance standards
- Ability to work efficiently in an on‑site team environment
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in vehicle maintenance, or equivalent hands‑on experience
