Senior Lawyer – Serious Injury
Are you an accomplished Serious Injury Lawyer ready to take the next step in your career? Join our highly regarded Serious Injury Team at Thompsons Solicitors and lead the way in representing clients who have sustained life-changing injuries.
Responsibilities
- Handle a portfolio of complex, high-value multi-track cases involving catastrophic injuries such as brain and spinal trauma, amputations, and severe orthopaedic injuries.
- Supervise and mentor junior team members, offering technical guidance and supporting their professional development.
- Contribute to the wider strategic and operational goals of the department, sharing best practice, overseeing case quality, and assisting in business development initiatives.
- Lead cases from instruction through to trial or settlement, developing litigation strategy, instructing counsel and experts, and participating in JSMs, ADR, and court proceedings.
- Combine hands-on casework with meaningful leadership responsibility.
Qualifications
- Qualified solicitors or legal executives with significant experience in serious injury or catastrophic personal injury litigation.
- Proven ability to manage complex multi-track cases with confidence and autonomy.
- Experience supervising or mentoring colleagues.
- Excellent judgment, leadership, client care skills, and the ability to balance high-quality case management with team oversight and collaboration.
