Our Clinical Negligence Lawyers handle a wide range of multi-track cases, from misdiagnoses to complex cases involving brain, spinal, and birth injuries requiring comprehensive rehabilitation packages, demonstrating a passion for client care.
What the role involves…
At Thompsons, you will manage high-quality clinical negligence cases from initial interview to settlement, working within a supportive team including specialist paralegal support. You will represent private clients and trade union members, managing all aspects of casework including evidence gathering, instructing counsel, attending conferences, JSMs/ADR, progressing cases to trial, and liaising with the costs team on recovery.
Who we are looking for…
We seek qualified solicitors or legal executives with up-to-date knowledge of clinical negligence law and civil litigation. We welcome candidates at all experience levels within this specialty. Excellent communication, client care skills, and empathy for vulnerable clients are essential. Ability to construct effective arguments and work well in a team, engaging in marketing and business development, is also important. Senior candidates may hold accreditation with the Law Society, AVMA, or other professional memberships.
