Paralegal – Disease Team (Manchester)
As a paralegal within our Disease Team, you will support clients affected by industrial disease conditions such as respiratory disease, occupational asthma, dermatitis and musculoskeletal illnesses. You will use empathy, communication and attention to detail to guide clients through challenging circumstances, manage a varied caseload, work closely with experienced solicitors and develop specialist knowledge in an evolving area of law.
We value a 100 % claimant‑only approach, meaning you will represent injured or mistreated persons and never employers or insurers.
Qualifications
- Experience as a paralegal, ideally within an industrial disease environment.
- Confidence using legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis.
- Familiarity with case‑management systems.
- Highly organised, proactive and client‑centred.
- Strong communicator, able to work sensitively with clients and collaboratively with colleagues.
- Motivated to develop expertise within disease litigation and contribute to the team’s success.
