At Thompsons Group, we’re looking for an Arboricultural Consultancy Manager to join our team and help us grow the consultancy division. What we’re looking for:
- You’re a committed professional with a broad range of experience in arboricultural and ecological consultancy.
- You are passionate about driving growth and forging lasting client relationships.

- Varied experience and comprehensive knowledge of private sector arboricultural consultancy, including project management and client liaison. (Experience of ecological consultancy would be beneficial)
- Level 4 and above relevant qualification.
- Self-motivated and experienced in business development.
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
- IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office, CAD and ERP systems.
- A keen eye for detail and strong organisational abilities.
- A positive attitude and a drive to continuously improve processes.
- Ability to prioritise and manage workload; manage others to meet deadlines and deliver projects within budget.
- Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
What you’ll do:
- Manage the consultancy team project workflows including quoting for work, scheduling site visits, proof reading reports, etc.
- Manage consultants and associates delivering other professional services such as ecology.
- Liaise with clients to ensure that they receive timely, accurate, and professional advice and reports.
- Identify opportunities to expand our client base.
- Collaborate with the wider Thompsons team to develop tailored solutions for clients.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
