At Thompsons Group, we’re looking for an Arboricultural Consultancy Manager to join our team and help us grow the consultancy division. What we’re looking for:

  • You’re a committed professional with a broad range of experience in arboricultural and ecological consultancy.
  • You are passionate about driving growth and forging lasting client relationships.

  • Varied experience and comprehensive knowledge of private sector arboricultural consultancy, including project management and client liaison. (Experience of ecological consultancy would be beneficial)
  • Level 4 and above relevant qualification.
  • Self-motivated and experienced in business development.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office, CAD and ERP systems.
  • A keen eye for detail and strong organisational abilities.
  • A positive attitude and a drive to continuously improve processes.
  • Ability to prioritise and manage workload; manage others to meet deadlines and deliver projects within budget.
  • Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Manage the consultancy team project workflows including quoting for work, scheduling site visits, proof reading reports, etc.
  • Manage consultants and associates delivering other professional services such as ecology.
  • Liaise with clients to ensure that they receive timely, accurate, and professional advice and reports.
  • Identify opportunities to expand our client base.
  • Collaborate with the wider Thompsons team to develop tailored solutions for clients.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
