The Opportunity
Thompson & Terry Recruitment are excited to be working with our independent luxury bathroom and kitchen design client to recruit a creative and ambitious Graduate Designer to join their small but highly skilled team, on an exciting graduate programme.
As Graduate Designer, the successful candidate will gain experience in all areas of the business and will work closely with the Director and wider sales design team to bring bespoke high-end designs to life.
Design: Working with mainly high-end residential customers bringing interior bathroom and kitchen visions to life, whilst also getting involved in commercial projects and building relationships with architects, builders and other interior designers.
Administration: Support with the handling of all sales enquiries and getting involved in the initial conversations with clients, placing orders with manufacturers and supporting customers from initial conversation to the installation.
Financial Administration: Supporting with all financial administration, preparing sales quotes and sending invoices.
Marketing: Support the management of numerous social media channels, assisting with the creation of content, and maintaining a strong company brand.

The successful Graduate Designer will work closely alongside the Director and wider design sales team to create truly special spaces.

Requirements
- Educated to a degree level (or comparable) within Interior Design
- Customer focused with a passion to understand every client's needs
- Strong administrative skills and an eye for detail
- Strong communication skills via phone, virtually and face to face
- The willingness to learn new technical skills, including CAD and additional software
- Full UK driving licence with own car
