What will you do as a Therapist?
- As a Therapist in the Multisystemic Therapy department, you will provide intensive in-home service to youth 12-17 and their families using the evidence-based Multisystemic Therapy (MST) model.
This role is critical in addressing complex behavioral challenges and empowering families to create sustainable, positive change.
The Therapist will work collaboratively with families, community partners, and support systems to reduce risk factors and improve outcomes.
- A typical day as a Therapist will include a community visit with a client to develop, implement, and monitor goals, crisis intervention as needed, group supervision, and consultation.
Using the MST framework, the therapist collaborates with families, schools, and community systems to address the root causes of behavioral issues and foster long-term positive outcomes.
- As a Therapist, you will have a flexible schedule to meet the needs of families.
Each therapist will have a low caseload of only 5 cases.
Availability during afternoons and weekends may be required, as well as the ability to work in a community-based or fully remote setting.

Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required
- Minimum of 2 years working with at-risk youth and families, preferably in a home or community-based setting.
- Licensed or license-eligible in South Carolina (e. g., LCSW, LMSW, LPC, LMFT) preferred
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and meet any credentialing, licensing, and privileging standards as it pertain to the department you are in.
- All potential job candidates must pass a drug screening test, and an extensive background check is required.
