Our client is a long established, highly successful fund management firm focusing on quoted equities globally for a high quality institutional client base. The emphasis is on fundamental research, taking a long-term investment perspective.
The firm is looking to hire a small number of early career analysts who would rotate across regional teams over a minimum two year period while being trained internally and alongside external specialists.
Candidates will have 12 to 24 months' relevant and/or financial experience ideally gained within an investment, accounting or consultancy firm.
ROLE WILL INCLUDE:- Conduct research on current and potential investee companies through company and industry analysis including meetings with corporate management teams as well as generating investment recommendations based on that research
- Constructing financial models and valuation analysis for potential investee companies
- Active involvement in client engagement
- Stewardship and company engagement for securities under consideration
- Approximately 12 to 24 months' relevant financial, accounting or consultancy experience
- Independent and intellectually curious, with a humility and willingness to learn from others while contributing positively to investment debate within a small team of investment professionals
- An analytical long-termist mindset
- An effective communicator with a willingness to debate investment ideas
