Thompson Allen is recruiting a full-time paralegal assistant to support a consultant in our busy Brighton office with a varied caseload including conveyancing, company, wills and probate and private client matters. The role will include the following:
- Assisting with AML and other compliance requirements
- Filing Land Registry and Companies House documents
- Completing SDLT returns
- Preparing draft contracts, transfer deeds, completion statements, invoices and other legal documents
- Audio and copy typing
- Scanning, filing, and copying
- Ordering conveyancing searches and official copy documents from Land Registry
- Diary management / Arranging and setting up meetings
Candidates must have a law degree and the following skills:
- Good typing and computer skills including Outlook, Word and XL
- Good communication skills to liaise with clients
- Ability to learn under supervision
