The post holder will be responsible for leading and maintaining the Product Lifecycle Management strategy, systems, and processes across the organization. This role ensures that product data, workflows, and change management processes operate efficiently from concept through end-of-life.
Responsibilities
- Manage system configuration, data models, workflows, access controls, and integrations
- Maintain system uptime, performance, backups, and compliance with IT/security policies and applicable regulatory requirements (particularly Aerospace requirements)
- Coordinate upgrades, patches, and environment management (dev/test/prod)
- Design, optimise, and document PLM workflows (Engineering Change, Release, BOM management, etc.)
- Ensure alignment of PLM processes with business needs, regulatory requirements, and best practices
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to standardise and streamline product data processes
- Provide end‑user support, troubleshooting, and issue resolution
- Develop training materials and conduct user training sessions
- Act as the liaison between engineering, IT, vendors, and implementation partners
- Support integrations between PLM and ERP, CAD, MES, QMS, and other enterprise systems
- Work with IT/engineering teams to automate data flows and reduce manual work
- Monitor system usage and identify opportunities for optimisation
- Lead PLM roadmap planning, enhancements, and feature adoption
- Evaluate new tools, modules, and technologies that benefit the product lifecycle ecosystem
- Lead the implementation, configuration, and continuous improvement of the PLM platform

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- 5+ years experience in PLM administration, configuration, or engineering operations
- A good working knowledge of PC hardware, windows desktop software and office products
- Understanding of server hardware, windows server 2022, VMware, CISCO Networking and SANs
- Proven experience with CATIA V5/V6 (or similar)
- Strong understanding of ERP/MRP systems and business process mapping
- Knowledge of GD&T, aerospace manufacturing standards, and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of product development processes and BOM management
