The post holder will be responsible fordeveloping, owning and improving the Master Production Schedule. This role will oversee the full production lifecycle from high level strategic planning through to value stream planning and scheduling.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and communicate an accurate, achievable Master Production Schedule
- Ensure all customer demand is correctly translated into the MRP system and reflected in the operational plan
- Conduct capacity analysis ensure production plans are balanced, stable, and executable
- Act as the key planning interface between Operations, Programme Management and Supply Chain
- Provide scenario modelling to support decision‑making and continuous improvement initiatives
- Identify and implement improvements to planning processes, systems, data accuracy, and workflow efficiency

Requirements
Essential
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in Planning, preferably within a Manufacturing environment
- MRP experience and excellentlevel of MS Excel knowledge
- Previous experience in improving efficiencies
- Educated to GCSE Level, Grades A*-C, or equivalent (including Maths & English)
- Highly organised
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong statistical knowledge
- Ability to work well under pressure
