The predicted salary is between 40000 - 50000 £ per year.

This is a fixed term role for 12-18 months. The post holder will be responsible for supply chain activities with respect to new product introduction into supply chain. The post holder will liaise with different functions such as Manufacturing Engineering, Design, and PM to obtain data within required timescales to meet supply base lead times. The post holder will also engage with category sourcing to meet budgetary requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Member of Integrated Programme Team (IPT)
  • Support IPT meetings by proactively bringing supply chain status, risks and actions
  • Review the CCB packs and feed back to the organisation when ECRs are putting PODD at risk
  • Support NPI WAR
  • Participate in design reviews and programme meetings as appropriate
  • Participate in phase release reviews
  • Act as liaison between the wider Supply Chain organisation and the NPI IPT teams
  • Provide programmes with accurate, timely supply chain information
  • Ensure Supply Chain has a voice in the IPT and programme decision making
  • Identify improvement activities, process development and corrective actions to ensure an efficient, high‑performing NPI supply chain function
  • Manage cost of sourced parts to the programme costed BOM target, including proactive activities such as:
  • Forecast costed BOM
  • Supporting DtC and VAVE events
  • Supporting should-cost analysis
  • Maintain daily and weekly key performance indicators against assigned suppliers and MRP system
  • Carry out any other activities necessary for the smooth running of the NPI Supply Chain function
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company procedures
  • Role expectation is 70/30 based with Supply Chain in Seagoe and Engineering/Programmes in Banbridge.

    Requirements

    • Essential
    • Previous experience in a busy production environment or equivalent
    • 3+ years’ experience in a Material Planning/Sourcing role in an Engineering or Aerospace company
    • Knowledge of MRP systems
    • Educated to GCSE Level, Grades A*-C, or equivalent (including Maths & English)
    • Planning and organising
    • Interpersonal skills
    • Customer focused (internal and external)
    • Results orientated and self-driven
  • Desirable
    • Third level qualification in a supply chain related discipline
