The post holder will be responsible for independently verifying product conformity against engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements using approved inspection methods and calibrated equipment. Responsible for identifying and raising non-conformances and any quality related areas for improvement to the operations and quality teams to ensure a prompt resolution. Support containment, root cause analysis, corrective actions and continuous improvement activities to prevent reoccurrence of quality issues.
Hours of work: Monday-Friday 06:30-14:45.
Responsibilities:
- Perform independent product verification checks to ensure parts, assemblies and finished products conform to engineering drawings and design specifications.
- Follow general inspection guidelines to conduct visual, cosmetic, dimensional, mechanical, and functional inspections on a wide variety of components, assemblies, equipment, systems, supplies and materials.
- Escalate quality concerns affecting product safety, compliance or customer requirements.
- Follow all health and safety regulations.
