The post holder will be responsible for supporting the Facilities and Maintenance Department and all aspects of the business by maintaining, repairing and installing new electrical systems.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine maintenance and testing on industrial electrical systems
- Use of initiative to find and present faults and concerns in electrical systems
- Install electrical systems to 18th edition wiring regulations
- Maintain, operate all HVAC systems and associated equipment
- Perform facility inspections and audits and report any issues raised to Facilities Manager
- Carry out regular PPM
- Review and understand equipment and methods of operation, Fire alarm system and access control systems etc
- Comply with site safety procedures and requirements
- Support all production shifts by means of emergency callouts
- Demonstrate good knowledge of site Safety and knowledge in Risk Assessments and Method Statements
- Perform general site maintenance and liaise with contractors to ensure high standards of work and on time delivery

Requirements
- Essential City and Guilds in Electrical Installations or Equivalent
- Good working knowledge of fire detection systems
- Knowledge of communication network systems
- Knowledge of access control systems
- Valid Driving License and access to own vehicle
- Desirable Organisational / time management skills
