Position: Machinist (Grade 1&2)
Location: Craigavon, Northern Ireland, United Kingdom
Shift: Continental day shift (07:30-19:30)
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC Machines to produce high-quality components, meeting deadlines efficiently and safely
- Ensure world-class quality standards are maintained
- Problem solve to maximize machine capabilities and eliminate waste
- Drive cost reductions through efficiency improvements
- Liaise with technical and engineering teams for process enhancements
- Maintain machinery and ensure functionality
- Inspect finished products and ensure standards are met
- Adhere to health & safety and housekeeping standards
- Manage supplies and maintain a safe, organized workspace
Requirements
- 2+ years\’ experience with 3 and 5 Axis CNC Machines (Grade 1)
- Minimum 6 months CNC experience (Grade 2)
- Attention to detail, excellent communication, problem-solving skills
- Understanding of CNC programming and strategies
