Overview

Home-based within a commutable distance of Co. Fermanagh, Tyrone and Derry/Londonderry.

Sported is a charity that delivers expertise, resources, and vital support to organisations that use sport and physical activity to make a positive impact on young people and on our communities. Our primary conduit is a network of clubs and groups that reached almost one million young people across the UK in 2023-24. Through support, resources, and funding all provided at no cost we create social impact and lower the barriers that prevent our next generation from realising their full potential. Working with trusted local leaders across the communities we serve, we provide solutions through our team, backed up by a pool of volunteer consultants who offer professional support.

We are now looking for a Northern Ireland (NI) Delivery Officer to join us on a part-time, permanent basis, working 22.5 hours per week over three days.

The Benefits

  • Salary of £26,500 – £28,000 per annum, depending on experience (pro rata)
  • 25 days holiday in addition to statutory Bank Holidays (pro rata)
  • Two additional days of personal leave per year for religious holidays and/or wellbeing days
  • Volunteer Days – two additional days of paid leave each year to volunteer for another charity or our Sported members
  • Up to five days of paid study leave for self-funded education/training
  • Flexible working arrangements
  • A confidential counselling service
  • Access to a pension scheme
  • Virtual Diversity & Inclusion Open Space every month
  • Cycle to Work Scheme
